Armenian writer, born in 1987 in Yerevan. She studied pedagogics and journalism at Yerevan University. Her first poetry collection “The Words of Sleep Walker” was published in 2005. The second collection “poems Scatter rooms” was published in 2010. She is the member of Armenian Writers’ Union since 2007. She has participated in French Poetry Biennial, Frankfurt Book Fair, Kiev Literature Festival and others. She is awarded with numerous prizes in Armenia. Hasmik Simonian’s poetry is translated into French, Russian, English, Ukrainian, Spanish, Persian, Turkish, Serbian and Georgian languages.
