Kateryna Mishchenko (Ukraine)

Writer, translator.
 
Kateryna Mishchenko lives and works as a writer and translator of German in Kyiv. She is a co-founder of the Ukrainian publishing house “Meduza”. She taught the history of literature in Kiev Linguistic University, worked as a translator in human rights and social spheres. Her essays were published in Ukrainian and international magazines. Recent publications in German include the article “A dictionary of my Maidan” in Taz newspaper and the essayc “The black circle” in the anthology “Euromaidan. What is at stake in Ukraine”, published by Suhrkamp in 2014.
