Dariusz Sośnicki (Poland)
(b. 1969). Polish poet, editor, literary critic and translator. A philosopher by education. Author of twelve books of poetry and two books of translation. He was, among others, co-founder and editor of the important Polish Fortnightly Literary Magazine “Nowy Nurt” (1994–1996) and editor-in-chief of the Ossolineum Publishing House (2015–2020). He currently works at Filtry Publishing House and teaches creative writing at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. His distinctions include IWP Residency at the University of Iowa (2001) and the Albrecht Lempp Scholarship at the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (2023). His first book of essays, Double Teeth of Crazy Carl. Sketches from the Front, will be published this fall. He is a regular contributor to magazines “Dwutygodnik” and “Czas Kultury”. He lives in Poznań.
