Festival of Literature is starting!

It’s an honor for us to greet all of our guests at Tbilisi 3rd International Festival of Literature!

We are delighted to be organizing this Festival for the third time already, hoping it will host authors from Georgia and all over the world for many more times to come.

This year, the Festival will host 23 authors from 17 countries.

We are happy that two previous Festivals were visited by many famous authors, giving us a chance to introduce Etgar Keret, DBC Pierre, Yurii Andrukhovych, Serhiy Zhadan, Vera Pavlova and many others to local readers. The meetings held during the Festivals, arising   interest in the audience for contemporary literary processes, their engagement in discussions once again remind us of crucial importance of book and literature in our lives.

Festival program consists of poetry evenings, panel discussions, public lectures and creative evenings.

Special guests of the Festival are German authors and publishers. The Goethe Institute, Tbilisi International Festival of Literature and Georgian National Book Centre will be implementing a joint program within the framework of 2017/2018 Georgian-German friendship year, consisting of various meetings, presentations and residency programs . Georgia is a Guest of Honor of Frankfurt Book Fair in 2018; in order to be ready for this challenging mission active cooperation between the two countries is planned.
